In addition to these small vehicles , electric scooters, electric motorcycles and electric cars are increasingly seen on European roads and are shaping the image of the new electromobility. But when do these vehicles become worthwhile and how do you use them correctly in everyday life?

E-folding bikes in public transport

Public transport by bus and S-Bahn offers a number of options for transporting scooters and folding bikes as luggage. The vehicles can be folded up and thus save space within the public vehicles, for example for other passengers. In addition, you do not need to buy a separate bicycle ticket for this.

If you use public transport instead of a car, folding e-bikes are the ideal accompanying vehicle to cover the last mile comfortably and relatively quickly. The folding e-bikes are folded up in a few easy steps before boarding and parked in a safe place in the vehicle. They are then dismantled again at the destination and the journey continues. Folding them up only takes a few minutes and is easy to do at the train station or at the bus stop.

E-Bikes on Vacation

Holidays are time to relax. Whether you're on an active holiday with a city trip, in a camper van at a campsite or in an all-inclusive 5-star hotel - e-bikes make holidays even more enjoyable and entertaining. Many people use e-bikes, for example, to buy bread rolls from the bakery in the morning or to take a trip to the nearby towns.

But complete bike tours are also possible with e-bikes - the advantage: a greater range than with regular bikes and less physical exertion. This means that you can use your vacation to enjoy and relax. If you have a folding e-bike, it even fits in your car or camper and can be easily taken along in its small format; the large e-bikes require a bike trailer.

Using electric scooters in the city

The stylish city cars can already be seen in many big cities, often supported by the local public utilities in the form of charging infrastructure. The scooters are known as Vespa or Schwalbe - both variations are now also available in electric versions.

In addition to these two well-known names, there are now many other scooters on the market. With this number of scooters, it is worth comparing them if you want to leave the car at home or use the e-scooter in the summer.

E-scooters for the last mile

Since the micro-vehicle regulation came into force, there has been a buzzing noise on the sidewalks and in traffic in many large cities. This refers to e-scooters, which can be used quickly and easily. You can either rent them per minute via an app, or you can use your own model to fold up and get from A to B quickly. The stylish e-scooters travel at 20 km/h and can also be used for the last mile, e.g. from the train station to home, or within the city.

E-Mobility Vehicle Charging and Battery Care

In addition to all the advantages that modern electromobility now offers, there is one thing that you should not forget: charging the battery. Many people are familiar with the situation of an empty cell phone or laptop - it is very similar with electric vehicles, with the difference that you can continue to ride them without electrical support, for example with bicycles, skateboards and scooters.

However, if you want to look after the battery in the long term, it is worth taking care of it by regularly charging it, completely discharging it and storing the battery in a cool place (garage, basement, hallway) when it is not in use. If you follow these rules, you will be able to enjoy an electric vehicle for a long time and use it in everyday life without any problems.

Can I easily take the bus or train with the e-folding bike?

You can simply fold the e-folding bike to save space and you don't need an extra ticket. You can fold it in and out in just a few steps and in just a few minutes.

Can I use an e-folding bike on vacation?

When on holiday, you can use an e-bike to cover short distances, but also to go on bike tours. If you take a folding e-bike with you, you can even save yourself the need for a bike trailer.

Are e-scooters practical?

E-scooters allow you to travel short distances in the city quickly and easily. You can use them via an app.
