♥ MYVELO Charity Cycling
Our values, our passion
Our values, our passion
Did you know that by purchasing an e-bike from MYVELO you are doing something good for yourself and also have the chance to do even more good?
For every bicycle sold, we donate ten euros to the ASHA Primary School in Nepal, thus supporting a project that has been running since 2005 and gives the poorest children the chance to attend school.
If you would like to donate an additional 50 euros, simply select the corresponding variant in the drop-down menu on the product page when purchasing your e-bike. We will do the same and add a donation of the same amount, so that 100 euros for each bike will ultimately benefit children and families in Nepal. Anyone who buys an e-bike from MYVELO is doing something good - you remain or become mobile and flexible, expand your radius of action and enjoy a great riding experience, and give children the chance to get an education and a chance to live a free and self-determined life.
Since 2019, we have been working closely with the ASHA Primary School in Nepal and supporting them wherever we can to give the poorest children there the opportunity to receive an education and at least one hot meal a day.
A basic idea behind our work: We want to open up new opportunities. For you, but also for those people who actually have no chance at all.
In total , €100.00 per e-bike sold will go to the ASHA Primary School.
The donation can optionally be added to the shopping cart.
In 2004, we received a request from a school principal from Nepal, Mr. Anupendra, to establish a primary school.
Children of day laborers and the poorest from families with little education, who otherwise have little access to school, should be given the opportunity to receive an education here.
The parents are usually day laborers without a fixed and regular income.
Without attending school, the children would mostly have to do child labor.
It is important that the girls in the families in particular go to school.
The children receive a warm, hearty lunch every school day.
The ASHA school has 180 children. The school has 4 kindergarten classes and 5 primary school classes.
All costs of the school are covered by donations and membership fees of the ASHA Friends and Supporters Association.
A hostel has also been maintained since 2008. It accommodates 32 children who, without this facility, would have been given to relatives or strangers.
Not out of lovelessness, but because the families are too poor to accommodate and care for them.
The children attend the ASHA kindergarten or the ASHA school.
They are cared for and looked after around the clock before and after school.
These costs are also financed through donations and membership fees.
There are no administrative costs in this project. Every cent of all donations and contributions received goes directly into the project work.

The Asha School was founded in 2005 to give the poorest children the chance to attend school
There are currently 180 children being taught who would have no chance of education without our help! In addition to school uniforms and learning materials, the children receive a hot meal every day.
In 2008, an additional hostel was opened in which 32 school children from difficult family backgrounds can find a roof over their heads.
The school is primarily attended by children from poor families who receive an education in this way and would otherwise have little chance of attending school. The ASHA Friends and Supporters Association finances the establishment and maintenance of this project - you too can become a part of it.
The Eine Welt-Verein Oberkrich eV ensures that the donations reach the primary school directly and without administrative costs.
