Grand Prix de la Ville de Pérenchies: A look back at a challenging race
The MYVELO Pro Cycling Team is back from the Grand Prix de la Ville de Pérenchies in the north of France - a demanding race reminiscent of the legendary route profile of the Paris-Roubaix classic. This event put the riders to the test and offered exciting insights into the team's dynamics and fighting spirit.
Challenging track and strong competition
The Grand Prix de la Ville de Pérenchies route stretched over 178 km and featured a challenging 1.2 km cobblestone segment, which had to be ridden a total of 7 times. These segments were crucial to the race and required the riders not only to demonstrate driving skills, but also enormous stamina and resilience. The competition was just as strong: 125 riders from various Continental teams as well as World Tour debutants such as Deceuninck took on this demanding challenge.
An aggressive start and an intense pursuit
The MYVELO Pro Cycling Team started the race with a lot of energy and an aggressive strategy. But after the first 15 km, a 13-man group broke away, in which the team was unfortunately not represented. The team decided to pursue intensively and managed to reduce the gap from an initial 4 minutes to 3 minutes. Despite the tough conditions and some technical challenges, the riders showed great commitment and fought until the end.
motivation for the future
In the end, the MYVELO Pro Cycling Team finished in 48th place - a result that serves as an incentive. The gap to the leaders was reduced and the team's performance was a testament to the tireless effort and determination of the riders.
Outlook on the next race
The MYVELO Pro Cycling Team is motivated and ready for the next race. The coming weeks will be used intensively to prepare optimally and further develop the team's potential.
