1. Bikepark Winterberg – Sauerland's classic

Do you want pure adrenaline? The Winterberg Bike Park is the hotspot for mountain bikers. With flow trails, big jumps and North Shore elements, you can really let off steam here.
Tip: Try the "Flow Country Trail" – pure speed and fun!

2. Geißkopf Bikepark – Bavarian Forest

The Geißkopf is cult. Whether downhill, single trail or the legendary Flow Country Trail, you can find it all here. The routes are well maintained and you will find something for every level.
Pro tip: Treat yourself to a wheat beer in the valley after a long descent – ​​typically Bavarian. 😉

3. Stoneman Arduenna – Eifel

Are you ready for an epic challenge? The Stoneman Arduenna is a 176 km round trip with a whopping 3,900 meters of elevation gain. The route takes you through breathtaking volcanic landscapes and past castles.

Insider tip: Combine the trail with a visit to one of the region's wine villages. 🍷

6. Alpirsbach Black Forest Trail – Baden-Württemberg

This beautiful trail awaits you in the middle of the Black Forest. The route offers you a perfect mix of nature experience and sporting challenge - including views of the rolling hills and deep forests of the Black Forest.
Highlight: After the tour you can enjoy a cool reward in the famous Alpirsbacher Klosterbräu. 🍺

7. Mil1-Trail – Miltenberg, Bavaria

The Mil1 is the perfect introduction for anyone who wants to explore the Odenwald by mountain bike. You can expect varied routes with flow passages, tough climbs and descents through beautiful forests.
Tip: Start in Miltenberg and treat yourself to a piece of “Odenwälder Kochkäs” after the tour – a real insider tip in the region.

My tip: The Ochsenkopf downhill is a must if you like speed.
